Description
Rosokhotrybolovsoyuz’s emblem consists of the following: a gold shield with a gold bear on the green background, at the top, and a silver pike on the blue background, at the bottom.
The shield is framed with green oak tree branches bound with a golden tape with a four-rayed star. Two gold hunting horns are depicted on the sides of the shield.
The inscription on the shield runs: “ALLIANCE ROSOKHOTRYBOLOVSOYUZ”.

Bear – is the strongest animal of northern forests. It is a totem animal of many northern peoples. Bear symbolizes a connection between the sky and the earth. It is an associative symbol of Russia. Bear is often portrayed in national emblems possessing lion’s qualities – brevity, courage, strength and mightiness.
Pike. In Russian heraldry, fish is used to symbolize fishing. Pike is the most popular fish in Russian literature and folklore, a ‘number one hunter’ in Russian ponds.
Hunting horn – is an emblem of those “who like quick chase”.
Garland (oak branch) – symbolizes glory, stamina, courage and nobility.
Four-rayed star – is a symbol of road map.
Green color - It is commonly related to the color of forests and fields occupying 9/10 of the Russian territory. It stands for life, renewal and freedom.
Blue color – is a traditional color of water. It symbolizes beauty, mightiness and clarity.
Gold (yellow color) – stands for wealth, respect and justice.
Silver (white color) – is a symbol of nobility.
All composition elements of Rosokhotrybolovsoyuz emblem symbolize the qualities of the majority of Russian hunters and fishermen, such as brevity, smartness, observation keenness, tenacity and nobility.
